Anthony S. Rachuba, IV
Anthony Rachuba’s practice focuses on estate/trust planning, estate/trust administration, business formation, business succession planning, special needs trust planning, guardianships, elder law, medicaid planning for long term care and estate/trust litigation. He represents individuals, including professionals and business owners, to prepare an estate plan which meets the estate planning goals of each client (and business succession planning goals of of each business owner). Anthony has worked with many families with a disabled member to develop an estate plan which not only achieves the goals of the client, but allows the disabled family member to maintain, or obtain in the future, public benefits which are subject to resource level determination tests. Anthony also assists families when a spouse or parent requires long term care nursing services to guide them through the Medicaid rules and regulations. Anthony advises clients on how to position their assets and helps preserve the wealth accumulated over a lifetime for the next generation and beyond.
Anthony frequently speaks and writes on matters concerning estate planning, the use of special needs trusts for disabled persons and business succession planning. He is a member of the Pennsylvania, Bucks County and Lehigh County Bar Associations. Anthony serves as a Board Member for both the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley and the Estate Planning Council of the Lehigh Valley, and just recently finished serving on the Board for the Upper Bucks County Chamber of Commerce. Anthony was named a "Super Lawyer Rising Star" in Estate Planning and Administration in 2010, a Bucks County 40 under 40 award recipient in 2014, and has been named a top lawyer in the areas of estate planning and estate administration for the past several years.
Anthony graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University in 1998 and from Villanova University School of Law in 2001. Upon graduating law school, Anthony served a two-year judicial clerkship for the Honorable Calvin S. Drayer, Jr. of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, Orphans’ Court Division. During his clerkship Anthony began attending classes and ultimately obtained his LLM in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law in 2004.
